In incredible footage shot by Dominik Fretz, an explorer for National Geographic, shows a rather large great white clamping down on the camera.
The bite of the camera appeared to be out of curiousity and the shark immediaetly spat it back out as a camera probably wasn’t too tasty.
The camera did survive with just a few bite marks and the shark appeared to not be injured as well!
The footage was shot using a Trident underwater drone, which gives researchers a less invasive way to get up close and personal with sharks at sea, without putting shark or human in danger.
“It seems like the sharks want to put up a show for us. Especially in the afternoon, there is a lot of interactions,” Fretz wrote on the blog.
