Video: Narwhal Adopted By Pod Of Beluga Whale In Incredible Footage

In an unbelievable story, a lost juvenile narwhal found a new home and a family with a group of beluga whales.

The surprising pod of whales were discovered in the waters of the St Lawrence River near the province of Quebec.

The discovery was made by the Group for Research and Education on Marine Mammals (GREMM) back in July as they were performing their annual research on the pods of beluga whales in the river.

The group was shocked to see the young narwhal as it was about 600 miles away from it’s typical Arctic range. From all accounts, it appears as though the belugas have adopted the narwhal into the family.
